This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect from all sources including in connection with our websites, social media sites, mobile sites, applications (“apps”), and electronic newsletters (collectively, the “Services”) that link to this Privacy Policy. From Other Sources – We may receive your personal information from other sources, such as school databases, social media platforms, joint marketing partners, and from people with whom you are friends or otherwise connected on social media platforms, as well as from other third parties.

-respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests, such as to send you newsletters, brochures, catalogs and e-mails. 

-send administrative information to you, for example, information regarding the Services and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies..

7. Emails; Opt-out

We do not compile, buy, sell, rent or trade email lists. As described above, however, we may use information volunteered via the Services for our own marketing and educational efforts and to send emails on topics we feel would be of interest (e.g., with respect to our relevant leadership events, co-sponsored events, and our specific products). If you do not wish to receive such informational and marketing emails, please send an email to and write “no email” in the subject line, and we will remove your name from our marketing email listing. Please note that if you do opt out of receiving marketing emails from us, we may still send you important administrative emails (including, but not limited to, such information related to your Positive Athlete subscription and your continued use of the Services).

8. Minors and Sensitive Information

We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from anyone under the age of thirteen (13). We do not collect highly sensitive data (e.g., medical, credit card or other personal financial information) as described in this Privacy Policy.

We are committed to providing reasonable and practical access to allow you to identify inaccuracies in your personal information, and upon request, we will grant individuals reasonable access to the personal information we hold about them. Requests for such access, as well as general questions, comments and concerns about our Privacy Policy, should be directed in writing to the address stated in our Contact Information at the end of this Privacy Policy.

For example, we may link to third party websites that promote and permit you to purchase books and other materials featured on the Websites and in the Positive Athlete program. This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy, information or other practices of any third parties, including, without limitation, any third party operating any site or service to which the Services link and any Positive Athlete Third Party Provider. The inclusion of a link on the Services does not imply our endorsement of the linked site or service. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy, collection, usage and disclosure policies and practices (including the data security practices) of other organizations, any Positive Athlete Third Party Providers, or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer, including any personal information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Websites or our social media pages. We encourage you to review each third party site’s privacy policy prior to entering into transactions with the third party linked sites.

12. Mobile Privacy

If you specifically consent to receive SMS text messages, push notifications, or other messages from us, you may from time-to-time receive SMS text messages push notifications, or other messages from us. We will only use information you provide to transmit your message, and we will not share or use your mobile number for any other purpose. Nonetheless, we reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.

13. Relationship between Celebrate Positive and Positive Athlete, Inc.

Celebrate Positive, Inc. has engaged as a sponsor of Positive Athlete. We act as a consulting partner to Positive Athlete, Inc. in order to design, develop and execute programs, services and offerings as a part of Positive Athlete. Associates, team members and other resources involved on behalf of Celebrate Positive, who perform services, develop technology resources, media and other content for Positive Athlete, do so at the direction of Celebrate Positive. Final decisions or solutions which appear in the public domain, are made either independently or in consultation with Celebrate Positive.

14. Updates to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently, and note the “LAST UPDATED” legend at the top of this page to see when this Privacy Policy was last revised. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy that we consider material, we will notify you here, by email (if you have provided us with your email address), or by means of a prominent notice on our the home pages of the Websites prior to the change becoming effective. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective on the stated effective date. Your use of the Services following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
